Do you feel overwhelmed by photo editting software? Would you like to develop the confidence to master minimal editing techniques and create a workflow to enhance your bird / nature images? My services also include a wide array of software-based photography courses, including digital image editing, Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Lightroom. with a Certified Photoshop Expert, with basic Windows or Mac OS tuition to learn how to make better use of Windows or Apple Mac hardware.  

These comprehensive one-to-one session will help elevate your wildlife photography skills through mastering Lightroom and Photoshop. By delving into simple to master minimalist techniques such masking, colour grading, minimal , bird, feather or other anatomical features, background, minimal sky retouching, as well as eliminating distractions from wildlife images, you’ll transform your photographs.

You will enhance the impact of your compositions by refining them through succinct cropping and other minimal edits for visually striking results. The sessions begins with an in-depth exploration of Lightroom tools, followed by practical sessions editing some of your images obtain during our tour, using Lightroom and Photoshop. These hands-on exercises will showcase various tool applications, demonstrating how to craft compelling and dramatic images that truly stand out. Elevate your wildlife photography to the next level with this invaluable course. You ill also have my full support by email or even have extra session online over Zoom once you are back home if necessary.

In this course, you will:
• Understand how to handle various image formats: tiff, jepg, raw, photoshop psd files etc.
– Create a image workflow from camera, to computer, to editing, key-wording, backups etc.
Master photoshop basics: Gain a solid foundation in the essential tools and features of Adobe Photoshop or Lightroom.
• Detail enhancement: Learn how to sharpen and bring out the fine details in animal fur, feathers, and eyes.
• Background refinement: Techniques for cleaning up and enhancing backgrounds to focus attention on your subject.
• Color rorrection and grading: Adjust colors to achieve realistic and vibrant wildlife portraits.
• Creative effects and filters: Explore artistic effects and filters to add a unique flair to your photos.
• Efficient workflows: Tips and shortcuts to streamline your editing process, saving time while achieving professional results.

Lessons can be conducted for about an hour each session after our tour ends for the day, preferably before dinner. The number of sessions depends on how much support you require. Sessions can also be extended to be continued online over Zoom the tour ends and you hav

Andrew has supported many clients and students in photography and photo editing courses for many years. He is an experienced photographer who regularly collaborated with the Gibraltar Photographic Society as an appraiser / judge for their internal competitions.
